Bio

I have been diving for about 10 years and after about 2 years, decided I wanted more than memories from my dives. I bought an underwater housing for my camera at the time (Canon A710IS) and started practising. Images were very average especially without a strobe. In around 2014 I upgraded to a Canon G15 which has RAW capabilities and soon after I bought a strobe as well which has helped immensely.
In 2019 I upgraded again to a Sony RX100 M2 which has once again improved my image quality (I think!) and also bought a macro lens. I’ve really enjoyed this set up, especially the macro lens which makes getting clear shots of slow moving critters like nudibranchs much easier.

I like to think my photos have improved over time but you can be the judge! There is still so much to learn and a lot more practising needs to be done.

I really enjoy diving here in South Australia -we are lucky to have so many good sites with a variety of marine life but I have included a few overseas photos for variety.

Thanks for visiting!
