
Port Victoria is celebrating its 150th year anniversary.
In it’s heyday, Port Victoria was the busiest port in the Southern Hemisphere and was visited by a fleet of large, fast sailing ships that transported grain back to England.
The celebration includes a flotilla of tall ships, yachts and boats sailing into Port Victoria and a participation by the Wooden Boat Association of South Australia that will be joined by wooden boats from interstate.
Friday 6 March 2026
Flotilla sails into Port Victoria. Vessels will include South Australia’s own The One and All and also the Søren Larsen, a 43 metre Brigantine built in 1949 in Denmark.
Saturday 7 March 2026
Port Victoria is hosting a Festival Day on the town oval with various activities including live music, local craft and produce stalls.
A sailing regatta will take place including many of the visiting wooden boats and local yachts and boats
Sunday 8 March 2026
There will be various activities including maritime displays, horse and cart rides and blacksmithing demonstrations.
